Local community members Peggy Barki & Paula Welch decided to get involved for Child Abuse Awareness Month!They are holding a card party at the Wellsburg Moose to help assist A Child’s Place CASA, Ltd. with their fundraising efforts.

2012 Annual Light of Hope Event - April 26
April is National Child Abuse Prevention Month. On April 26, 2012, A Child’s Place CASA, Ltd. is holding a candlelight event as part of a national movement to light a symbol of hope for the abused and neglected children who are currently under the jurisdiction of Brooke and Hancock Counties Circuit Courts. The vigil will be held at 7:30pm on the Town Square in Wellsburg. Download and print form.Light of Hope - April 29, 2010
Light of Hope is April 29 from 5 pm to 9 pm at the Wellsburg Town Square.
Every year we light a candle of hope for each of the children in Brooke and Hancock Counties that we advocate for.
