A Child's Place CASA, Ltd. is a 501(c)3 non profit organization, in Brooke and Hancock Counties, West Virginia, supporting and promoting court appointed volunteer advocacy for abused and neglected children so that they can thrive in safe, permanent homes.

 

A Child’s Place CASA, Ltd. Saves Taxpayers Money

In 2010 we compiled statistics to gauge the impact a CASA Volunteer can have upon a child, the health and human resources system and your community.
A child with a CASA Volunteer spent 31% less time in care versus a child without a CASA Volunteer.
Fact - The basic costs of a child within foster care per month is $2,218.00.
Translation - A Child’s Place CASA, Ltd., saved the taxpayers of West Virginia $958,000 because of their advocacy efforts in Brooke & Hancock Counties.
